WALKS

There are some lovely walks up to and around Knock Hill which is the hill you can see immediately to the east (inland) side of the Castle. To reach it, turn left when you go out the main gate, walk downhill (northerly direction) for about 400 yards and follow a sign that says “Knock Hill” off to the right (east ) side of the road.  It is part of the Ayrshire Coastal Path which you could follow for nearly 100 miles to Ballantrae in South Ayrshire.

Located in the turret, the sauna provides a welcoming heat to help you relax and unwind.
